Cooking Methods for Beef, Lamb, and Pork

Tip: Don't immediately associate beef, lamb, and pork with high fat content and worry that it will affect your weight loss. Actually, the fat content of beef, lamb, and pork varies depending on the cut. Just pay attention to the cut of meat when buying and avoid eating the fat. The cooking methods for beef, lamb, and pork are basically the same.

1. Braised Beef in Tomato Sauce

Ingredients: 250g lean beef, 80g tomato, 1 egg white, 1 sprig of cilantro, a little xylitol, cooking wine, salt, a little chopped green onion and ginger, 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil.

Tools: Wok

Instructions:

(1) Wash the tomato and cut it into small pieces. Wash the cilantro and cut it into large sections.

(2) Wash the beef and cut it into small pieces. Add cooking wine, xylitol, salt, and egg white and mix well. Marinate for 10 minutes. (3) Heat vegetable oil in a wok over high heat, then add chopped scallions and ginger and stir-fry until fragrant. Add beef chunks and stir-fry until three-quarters cooked. Add diced tomatoes and stir-fry together. Add water, cover, and simmer until the meat is cooked through.

(4) Plate the braised beef in tomato sauce and sprinkle with cilantro.

2. Hot Pot Lamb
Ingredients: 250g lean lamb, 3 lettuce leaves, 2 sprigs of cilantro, a small amount of mint, chopped scallions, chili powder, Sichuan peppercorn powder, xylitol, salt, vegetable oil, sesame oil.

Handling tool: Soup pot

Instructions:
(1) Wash the lamb and cut it into thin slices.

(2) Place the soup pot over high heat, add lamb broth, and season with vegetable oil and salt to taste.

(3) Add lettuce leaves, cilantro, and mint to the soup pot. Bring to a boil and start cooking.

(4) Add chopped scallions, chili powder, Sichuan peppercorn powder, xylitol, salt, vegetable oil, and sesame oil. Add appropriate amounts of each ingredient to a seasoning bowl and mix to create a dipping sauce to your liking.
